    • Network connection to the ConferenceCalls.com system through HTTP and HTTPS
    • Connection speed of 56kbps or higher is recommended
    • Microsoft Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/Server2003 System with one of the following browsers: Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher; Netscape 7.0 or higher; Mozilla 1.0 or higher
    • Mac OS X with Netscape 7.1 or higher or Apple Safari
    • Linux, Unix or Solaris with Netscape 7.0+ or Mozilla 1.0+
    • Cookies, pop-ups and scripting Enabled

    Document Publishing
    No downloads or plug-ins are required for presentations limited to Document Publishing. Only the basic system requirements must be met by Hosts and Participants.

    Application & Desktop Sharing
    To share applications or desktops the sharing system must meet the following requirements in addition to the basic system requirements:
    • Microsoft Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/Server2003 System with Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
    • Ability to run ActiveX sharing controls or pre-install sharing components
    • Network connection speed of 128kbps or faster recommended

  12. I cannot connect to web conferencing using Internet Explorer 8?
    You can, but the default security settings will not allow it. You can modify a setting to allow it to work. The reason it does not work is because Microsoft has a new security features that doesn't allow cross-site scripting. To change the setting, follow these instrcutions.
    1. Go to Tools
    2. Select Internet Options
    3. Click the Security Tab
    4. Click Custom Level button
    5. The 3rd from bottom option is Enable XSS Filter. Turn that from "enabled" to "disabled"

    You can change this back anytime when you are not using web conferencing.
